Talentless rich kids
If you’re fun, vapid and have low standards, people will want to party with you. But they won’t respect you.
If you have inconsistent, hypocritical or self-centered standards, people will be repulsed by you.
If you have consistently high standards people will be slightly afraid of you, but they will respect you. They might even be drawn toward you. What’s consistent? Years at least.
If you want to be loved and admired, there’s not much you can do. That’s purely subjective and has a lot to do with your personality. Just be authentic 100% of the time. If you have their respect on top of it, then you have a genuine opportunity to lead.
AMOG or tastemaker status. I’m not a groupie in anyone’s world and I don’t expect that in mine either. Just be original, and play fair.
